
Medical and Dental Sponsorship
Planning to join the RAF as a Medical or Dental Officer? Got a degree course at a UK medical school in mind? Well, as soon as you’ve been accepted, look into getting an RAF Medical or Dental Sponsorship.
Dental Bursars receive a bursary of £4,000 pa for years 1 and 2 then compete for the Cadetship upgrade for years 3 to 5. Medical Bursars receive a maximum bursary of £6,000 payable in years 2 and 3 then compete for the Cadetship upgrade for years 4 and 5.
You’ll also get the chance to join the University Air Squadron (UAS), where you’ll get an excellent experience of how life in the RAF works, including learning to fly, going on ski expeditions and being involved in aeromedical evacuations.
