Sixth Form Scholarship
See yourself as an Officer? Or got your heart set on being Non-Commissioned Aircrew? Or want to help keep the skies safe from the ground, as a Non-Commissioned Air Traffic Controller?
If your answer is ‘yes’, then when you enter sixth form, think about a Sixth Form Scholarship – you can get £1,000 to fund your studies in Year 13.
A Sixth Form Scholarship is a big step on the road to a top RAF career – if everything is in order at the end of Year 13, you’ll be put forward for a University Air Squadron Bursary or be recruited straight into the RAF.
During sixth form, you’ll also get the chance to attend a two-week ‘Preparation for Leadership’ course and be encouraged to join the Air Cadet Organisation – if you haven’t already done so that is!
