Recruiting 2011

Each Sep/Oct we visit the Bath, Bristol and UWE Freshers’ Fayres to begin the local recruiting drive. We have now confirmed the following dates:

UWE – Thurs 22 Sep

Bath – Fri 30 Sep

Bristol – Thurs 6 Oct

Due to the large numbers expected we request that you attend your own fayre and FULLY COMPLETE THE PROCEDURE listed below so that your application may be processed correctly.

Upon arrival at your respective fayre ask an Official for directions to the BUAS stall or look around for our student members in RAF uniform. Once at the stall you can ask any questions you like and in return we will enquire about a few basic details. If you fulfill all the eligibility criteria (see our How to Join page) you will be invited to a quiet area where you will be required to complete an application form and have a 5-10min informal suitability interview with one of our officers.

NB: At peak times the process can be slower due to the large number of applicants, therefore it is advised that you try to turn up as early as possible and make sure you have at least 1hr of free time.

EXETER & PLYMOUTH students should write/email us with basic contact details and possibly a brief CV (ie which University/Course/Year you are in and any other details of note) as soon as possible. We will then email or post you an application form which must be completed and returned to us before Friday 16 Sep for consideration.
