Aim of the Course
The aim of the course is to train Photographers of all the three Services and Civilian personnel in all aspects of video production. The training utilizes the latest digital equipment and industry standard editing software.
Outline of the Syllabus
The course comprises the practical knowledge and skills to produce training / corporate videos. The course includes theoretical and practical instruction on video camera and audio equipment, motion picture craftsmanship, pre-production techniques, experience of directing, camera operation digital video editing.
The syllabus covers the following topics: video equipment - types and operation, basic and advanced craftsmanship, digital editing, basic and advanced video production, safety and environmental protection and a final production exercise.
International Entry Standards
To qualify for the course all students must be qualified photographers with a minimum of 3 years experience, having successfully completed the Defence Photographers Course or Civilian equivalent and who are appointed to posts which require professional video expertise.
