Aim of the Course

The aim of the course is to provide photographic Pre-Employment Training for nominated service photographic personnel and equivalent civilians who will be deployed as a video photographer on a Combat Camera Team, Mobile News Team or other Media posts.

Outline of the Syllabus

To provide training for professional photographers in the skills and techniques required to video media events world-wide in all theaters of operation. The syllabus covers the following topics: Skills & Techniques to video uncontrolled action, operate ENG digital P2 cameras, P2 digital workflow, digital editing using industry standard Avid software and transmitting imagery via satellite communication systems.

International Entry Standards

The students selected to attend this course must have successfully completed the Defence Photographers Course or civilian equivalent.
