Activities within the Association

Track and Field

This element of the Association covers the Olympic traditions of running, jumping and throwing.  The season runs from early April to the the culmination of the season, the Interservices, in July.  An overseas training camp usually takes place in March.  We have athletes ranging from beginner level, all the way to international standard.  The team is managed by a team manager who has deputies that look after the mens and womens teams respectively. We have newcomers to the team all the time and you can find out more about it [link not available].  You can see past match reports through the links at the bottom of this page.

XC and Road

This group covers races over a variety of distances and surfaces.  Everything from 5k, to running in the prestigious London Marathon.  The race programme runs all year round, mainly focusing on XC during the winter and then road races during the summer.  The team is represented on the March overseas training camp and has sent teams to prestigious overseas matches, curteousy of the RAF Sports Board.   Contact us to find out more or see past match reports through the links at the bottom of this page.
