Cycle Mechanic and Cycle Sales

Responsible for all repairs and service to existing Street, Mountain, Race and BMX cycles

Creating full set-ups for new builds including assembly of hydraulic brake systems, full suspension set-ups and wheel building.

Cycle Sales of the full range of stock to a diverse regional clientele from age 3+.

Parts sales, including stock from current range and one off special orders.

Customer service, offering one-to-one consultations with clients over bike builds, repairs, service and problems with bikes.

Stock ordering from existing suppliers, developing relationships to ensure that highest levels of service and best price are received.

Taking cash, card and cheque payments.

Volunteer Experience

Moray Wheels Project 1998 - Present

Instrumental in developing the idea of a skate/bike park in Elgin, raising the profile of the "Bikes/Boards/Blades" community with the local businesses and the council, fund raising and liaison with local press. This is scheduled to be built in 2009

Cairngorm Mountain Men Ride 2007

Took part in the annual 64 mile ride from Elgin to the top car park of Cairngorm Mountain to raise money for local charities.

Other Experience

Entered first Mountain Bike Race at age 17 and came 5th

Ridden down Fort William World Cup Down Hill track in 6.5 mins (Pro's time is just under 5 mins)

Active bike rider, rides all terrains daily

Travelled extensively in New Zealand in 2006

Daily surfer off Scottish coastline and have surfed in New Zealand, Morocco, Ireland and the Hebrides
