RAF Road Cyclists

RAF Champs Road Result 2007

A mild and pleasantly sunny sky adorned the Eelmore Driver Training Circuit for today's RAF Cycling Championships Road Race. Riders came from far and wide to participate but it was equally noted that attendance was poor (especially with a no show from the RNRMCA).

Air Commodore Ray Lock (RAF Cycling's new President) watched on intently as the racers battled it out around the lozenge shaped circuit. He then went on to end a fine session of racing by presenting trophies to the following category winners:

RAF Road Champion 2007 Paul Mace (RAF High Wycombe)

2nd RAF Martin Pearson (RAF Cranwell)

3rd RAF Ross Mallen (RAF Odiham)

1st (Across the Services) Paul Mace (RAFCC)
