RAF Akrotiri Flying Club
RAF Akrotiri Flying Club
About us
Our main aim at the flying club is to provide quality flight training and experiance at a low price for military personell and their dependants.
The club also provides a facility for JAA/CAA qualified pilots to continue flying in Cyprus, after completing a local procedures examination and check flight, which can also be done at the club.
Established in 1992, Akrotiri Flying Club is a Registered Training facility approved to undertake training for the ICAO (Cyprus) Private Pilots Licence, single engined type rating and night qualification. Training is conducted within the professional environment of the Royal Air Force, under the watchful eye of the Head of Training.
The weather in Cyprus allows training almost every day of the year, mainly in and around Limassol and Episkopi bays, with cross country training flights to Larnaca and Paphos International Airports.
The club prides itself on having an intimate yet friendly atmosphere.
