About us

The RAFC Cranwell Flying Club operates a fleet of 3 aircraft from the South Airfield at RAFC Cranwell. We are open to both service and civilian members and offer facilities for aircraft hire and training towards a variety of licences and ratings. There are also occasional opportunities to undertake formation and aerobatic training flights. Learning to fly is FUN, challenging, rewarding and satisfying. It is excellent for personal development as it instils a high level of self-confidence.

You also make a lot of new friends who share your enthusiasm for aviation. Anyone can learn at any age. You will be most welcome. By browsing the club’s web pages you should find answers to most of your questions. If not feel free to contact the club via the links page or visit the club in person. The clubhouse is situated on the Eastern end of the main Aircraft Servicing Platform by the Met Office. We fly most weekends and occasional weekday evenings.
