New Members Wanted

This year the RAF Gliding and Soaring Association are looking to recruit new members.

Come and learn to fly with us! Clubs operate on weekends and bank holidays. Run by volunteers, all teaching is conducted by qualified gliding instructors and is free of charge.

Membership of the RAFGSA is from £27, based on a junior rank. (SNCO and Officers £66). A training flight can cost from as little as £4.50. Prices vary depending on the clubs location. Please see below for links to clubs prices pages:

Clubs also offer 'taster' flights, also available as gifts, if you would like to come and try out gliding before fully joining the GSA. Prices start from £20 depending on the clubs location.

As a member of the GSA you could even find yourself on one of our world gliding expeditions. Previous locations include The French Alps, Australia and Chile.
