Welcome to the Royal Air Force Halton Website

RAF Halton is the gateway to the Royal Air Force with a long and distinguished history in training, dating back to the Kitchener Armies that trained here during the Great War of 1914 to 1918. Today, RAF Halton provides highly-trained personnel as a wider contribution to the UK’s Defence Strategy in many differing and varied roles throughout the United Kingdom and abroad.

RAF Halton prides itself in the professionalism of its personnel, the standard of its training and the contribution it makes to the wider community in which it resides. RAF Halton will maintain its primary role of training Armed Forces personnel for the foreseeable future and the Station as a whole look forward to continue building on the excellent working relationship that it has with the local community.

For those Service personnel joining us here at RAF Halton, I would like to welcome you to the Station and I expect that you will have a most enjoyable tour. Set in amongst the Chilterns, you will find RAF Halton an excellent place to live and work.
