No 642 Volunteer Gliding School (VGS)

No 642 VGS is a lodger unit, parented by RAF Linton-on-Ouse and functionally controlled by Headquarters Air Cadets. A post of Gliding School Liaison Officer (GSLO) exists, primarily to ensure a smooth working relationship between 642 VGS and the Station.

All matters concerning No 642 VGS should be referred, in the first instance, to the GSLO. Gliding school staff are not to be contacted at their civilian places of employment except in extreme cases.
