RAF Lossiemouth Events

25^th June 2011 – Lossiemouth Armed Forces Day Parade and Red Arrows Display

Personnel from RAF Lossiemouth and The Royal Regiment of Scotland will parade through Lossiemouth along with cadets and veterans on Armed Forces Day, 25 June 2011. The parade will start at 1.50pm at the junction of Queen Street and Stotfield Road. The salute will be taken in James’ Square by the Lord Lieutenant of Moray along with military commanders; the parade will then continue to the harbour. At 3pm the Red Arrows will give a display over Lossiemouth East Beach.

26^th June 2011 – Aberdeen Armed Forces Day Parade

Personnel from RAF Lossiemouth, along with other military units, veterans and cadets will parade through Aberdeen. The parade will start at 11.00am and march along Union Street with the salute being taken at The Town House.

Edinburgh will host the national event for this year’s Armed Forces Day; more details of events can be found on the website www.armedforcesday.org.uk/

August 2011 – Lossiemouth Raft Race

Co-ordinated by RAF Lossiemouth personnel in conjunction with local councils, this annual family event is held in the town of Lossiemouth.

Tornado GR4 Role Demonstration Team – 2011 season timetable
