Station Piper (Upon Arrival)
Cpl Ally McDonald, has been playing the pipes since he was a child and currently works within FSW. His passion for piping means arriving at work an hour early each morning in order to practice and he can often be found at local primary schools giving tuition to local children. Called upon to perform at all manner of Station official functions, Cpl McDonald recently entered the national Royal Air Force Pipe Band Championships and won the accolade of the RAF Service Solo Champion Piper.

Pipes And Drums of 2622(Highland) Sqn RauxAF Regt
2622 is the only Squadron within the Royal Air Force (Regular and Reserve) that has its own Pipe Band. The Band wear Grey Douglas Tartan and currently has over 20 voluntary Service and Civilian members with numbers set to increase. The Band has played at numerous Service and Civilian events. The reputation of the Band continues to increase due to the commitment and professionalism of its members.

We are a community band, based in Elgin, with members from all over the County of Moray, in North East Scotland.

D-n-K
Dan Insley and Keith Waterfield are D-n-K: a singer/songwriter partnership from Rochester in Kent currently recording their first joint studio album entitled No XCUSES set for release in Spring 2009. Keith is the band's lead singer and guitarist and Dan is the pianist and producer. Dan is a talented pianist and keyboard player who owns his own media production company (Clicks Media Studios). He has played with a string of great musicians, including Rob Davis, Steve O’Donnell and Pink Floyd founding member Ron Geesin.

Keith is the typical affable London cabbie who has played guitar for over 30 years and has jammed with the likes of Billy Cotton, the Blues Brothers, Nine Below Zero, members of the Cutting Crew, and legendary drummer Brian Davidson.

D-n-K’s music is wide ranging, from rock to folk to alternative – something to suit everyone! Notable session players contributing to the album are the dazzlingly talented Phil Beer, one of the most popular ambassadors for acoustic roots music, 3-time Grammy award winner drummer Jef Van Veen (of OutKast fame), bassist Julian Bury and singer Alicia.
