£500 Donation to Marham Parish Council from RAF Marham

The Marham parish Council has launched an appeal to raise funds for the Village Hall Play-Park. The previous one was condemned under Health and Safety Regulations. On hearing about the appeal, RAF Marham’s Charity Committee agreed to donate £500. The cheque was presented to the Chairman of the Marham Parish Council, Cllr Allan Bradley by the Community Relations Officer, Squadron Leader ‘Rem’ Merrick. On receiving the funds, Cllr Bradley said “This is the first donation we have received, so we can now put something into the Bank Account! We are very grateful to RAF Marham for their support and I wish to thank the Air Base for their generosity, it is hoped that this will generate sufficient funds to allow us to construct a modern and well designed Play Park”.
