Prince’s Trust Team Programme at RAF Marham
Prince’s Trust Team Programme at RAF Marham
The Prince's Trust is a national community based personnel development training programme aimed at giving young participants from an ‘at risk’ background, (ranging from long-term unemployed, school truants, young offenders, those suffering from minor mental/physical disability to those seeking a temporary break from full-time employment or higher education), the opportunity to develop self-esteem and confidence through an intensive 12 weeks programme of teambuilding activities.
Each year about 11,000 youngsters take part and of those completing the programme, over 50% go on to either full time employment or full time education as a direct result of participation. The MOD’s commitment to Team, is the voluntary provision of up to 50 MOD/Armed Forces short-term ‘leaders’.
Opportunities exist for short-term secondment either as a Development Coach (DC), a Team Coordinator (TC), an Assistant Team Leader (ATL) or a Team Leader (TL).
