RAC Help out at RAF Marham
RAF Patrolman Steven Morgan from the Norwich Business Centre was requested by members of the Station’s General Engineering Flight to assist with raising funds for Charity. The RAC undertook to provide free Windscreen Chip repairs to Station personnel’s cars with all donations going to The Muscular Dystrophy Campaign. Steven became over enthusiastic and as well as repairing cards he was seen inspecting the windscreen of a XIII Squadron Tornado GR4. As well as repairing chips, the airmen and airwomen are also carrying out pre-winter checks, car washing and collecting at the main gate. The target figure is £500 and on returning to repairing car windscreens instead of jet canopies, Steven said “The RAC fully supports the Charity and hopefully we shall be able to help the RAF meet the target of £500. The experience e of been able to inspect a Tornado’s canopy made my week!”
