Hamond's High School Minibus Appeal receives boost from RAF Marham
Hamond’s High School, in Swaffham, has launched an appeal to raise £25,000 to purchase a badly needed minibus. On hearing about the appeal the Charities Committee at RAF Marham voted to give a grant of £3,000 towards the final figure. The Headteacher, Mrs Yve Srodzinski and the Head of Governors, Mrs Heather Nunn, visited the Airbase to receive the cheque from the Chairman of the Charities Committee, Wing Commander Gary Headland. On receiving the funding Yve said “This major project’s target is to raise £25,000 to purchase a Minibus replacement for our 15 year old one which has finally come to the end of the road, no pun intended! The donation from RAF Marham is very much appreciated and with this donation we have reached the half-way point. Hopefully, by Christmas we shall have met our target”.
