RAFMAA Competitive Selection takes place approximately every 2nd Thursday and Friday of the calendar month.

Attendance is classed as duty. This means you train in work time and can claim back travel expenses on JPA. But as attendance is duty, your appearance and bearing is that of a member of the Royal Air Force. You are expected to be punctual, and to practice in a clean training uniform (regardless as to whether you are wearing the RAFMAA issued Dobok or your own style training uniform). Hygiene, grooming and cleanliness is the same as to be as expected in your everyday workplace.
