RAFMSA RACE CHALLENGE

To compliment the RAFMSA Speed Challenge and to provide further MSA competition opportunities, the RAFMSA Race Challenge was introduced in 2006. The regulations for this challenge align with the ethos for the Speed Challenge, which is to provide a level playing field for all competitors regardless of what particular car they drive and the fact that Service competitors are generally limited to only several events per season. The Race Challenge provides exciting racing for novices as well as our more experienced competitors, who are more than willing to assist with the development of the novices.

The Race Challenge races are also used to select suitable team members for the prestigious annual “Birkett 6 Hour Relay Race” at Silverstone each year. Additionally, by combining the scores from both the RAFMSA Speed Challenge and the RAFMSA Race Challenge we determine the overall RAFMSA Motor Racing Champion for each season.
