The job

Intelligence Analysts are responsible for providing timely intelligence support to military forces deployed on operations around the world – collecting, collating and evaluating intelligence from multiple sources.

Intelligence Analysts are involved in three main areas of work: using intelligence to brief aircrews and commanders; analysing imagery from reconnaissance aircraft; and interviewing personnel to gather information. You will support most types of RAF operations, including ground attack, reconnaissance, air defence and helicopter missions. During operations, most RAF intelligence personnel will be located at airbases or in headquarters, and will utilise state-of-the-art IT systems to carry out their work.
