RAFSA Offshore Training is run by the Offshore Training Team who consist of:

Training Officer (YM & CS) - Carl Rich
Training Officer (DS & CC - Service) - Al Whalen
Training Officer (DS & CC - Civilian) - Al Mellor
Al Mellor is also the Shorebased Principal and runs GMDSS courses

To find out what training courses are planned by RAFSA Offshore then click the Training Calendar link in the Offshore Events section on the right. Clicking on a course in the calendar will take you to the main calendar page for the month that course is on where you can find out more about the training course and availability.

If none of the course dates are suitable for you and you have a few collegues who would like a week on the water, you may want to contact the appropriate Training Officer to see about arranging a training expedition. The Training Officer may be able to provide a suitable Instructor for your exped to allow you and your colleagues to gain RYA qualifications from your week. Please note, if you would like to charter one of the RAFSA yachts, you are advised to check availability with the Charter Manager first.

RAFSA Offshore are an RYA Recognised Training Provider
