Welcome to RAF Sea Angling
Welcome to the new Royal Air Force Sea Angling website, the official site for everything you wanted to know about RAF Competitive Sea angling.
According to the NFSA ‘Sea angling is one of Britain's largest participant sports in which more than a million boys, girls, men and women take part’ and today, given the changes in our community, RAF Sea angling remains in a healthy state with over 156 registered anglers, both serving and ‘old lags, being active at every level from Unit, Inter Unit, Inter Service, Combined Service and including a number of RAF and ex-RAF anglers in International Squads.
As you will discover, RAF Sea angling is a diverse sport where anglers fish alone or for the majority of the time as members of station, RAF and Combined Service Teams. RAF Sea anglers are to be found on the shoreline, on rocks, piers, in estuaries and out at sea on charter boats at anchor or drifting either off-shore or miles off the coast over wrecks and reefs.
Whether you are just starting out or have been a lifelong RAF Sea angler you will find something here for you on the new website and, it’s easy to use. Just use the menus to navigate to any of the main forums and links. We, your committee, also welcome your feedback.
