Aviation Art Exclusive limited edition prints

RAF Spadeadam recently commissioned aviation artist James Baldwin for original Aviation Art limited edition drawings that depicted the role of the Station today.

This first stunning piece of Aviation Art (above) has an SA-8 Surface to Air Missile system as the centrepiece, with SA6 and ZSU-234 threat systems to the right and left. Also to the left, in the background, is the Operations Centre at Berry Hill and the background to the right is typical of the scenery around RAF Spadeadam. No Aviation Art depicting the role of RAF Spadeadam would be complete without aircraft, and aviation artist James Baldwin added extra dynamism to the scene with two Tornado GR4 aircaft in the overhead. The badge of RAF Spadeadam completes the artwork, with the motto 'Si vis pacem para bellum', or 'If you seek peace, prepare for war.' (Print size is 22 x 16 inches)

We have just received a second wonderful Aviation Art addition to our limited edition prints. Aviation artist, James Baldwin, was commissioned to produce an aviation drawing of a Tornado GR4 overflying the Bluestreak facilities at Greymare. 'Fire and Brimstone' (below)was the result. This awesome piece of Aviation Art, which is available as a limited edition print, depicts a Tornado GR4 armed with ALARM and BRIMSTONE missiles set against the backdrop of the Spadeadam Forest and Scottish lowlands. In the foreground to the left is one of the Greymare rocket stanchions, guarded by an SA-11 Surface to Air Missile launcher and on the right is one of Spadeadam's SA6 STRAIGHTFLUSH threat radars.
