Recognised Sports

'Recognised Sports' are those sports that fully meet the criteria for pulic funding and are 'recognised' as doing so by the Combined Services Sports Board. Public funding may be used, within laid down criteria, for equipment, travel, coaching grants and CILOR. Participants in formally authorised events are considered 'on duty' under the provisions and guidance of JSP 765. (IAW 2007 DIN 01-05-Status of Sports)
