RAF Sports Lottery

The Sports Lottery was created in 1993 to provide additional funds to meet requests for help in financing sporting activity and endeavour in the RAF. There are currently over 27,000 members holding in excess of 65,000 tickets. This generates an annual income of£2.5 million. After running costs and prize money around £1 million is available to sports associations, stations and individual sportsmen and women.

The lottery is a series of separate and distinct weekly draws. Each ticket costs 75p per week and each member can hold a maximum of 5 tickets. Currently, a total of £20,000 is paid out each week in 12 separate cash prizes.

2nd £3,500
3rd £2,500
4th - 5th £1,500
6th – 8th £1,000
9th – 12th £500

Membership is open to all regular RAF personnel by completing JSForm JPA E015. Increases in ticket holdings can be achieved by contacting the Lottery Manager on RAF Halton 95237 Ext 7131 or 7132 (Civ Tel: 01296657131/7132). Retired, Reserve and RAuxAF personnel may also be members, for further details contact the Lottery Manager.
