People and Planes

RAF Waddington is the main operating base for what has been termed a 'triad' of airborne intelligence systems. The Sentinel R1, the Nimrod R1 and the E-3D Sentry. 

We are home to no less than 6 badged RAF squadrons, including both our ground based and flying squadrons. 

The people of RAF Waddington are a community as well as an effective workforce, working as a team towards common defence goals.
