On Friday morning, 2 December 2011, the Chief of the Air Staff (CAS), Air Chief Marshal Sir Stephen Dalton, took time out from his very busy schedule in London to spend 2 hours with personnel from the A4 (Logistics) Force at RAF Wittering.

RAF Team March For Honour

On the 4 November 2010, four teams of serving and ex-serving individuals from each of Her Majesty's Armed Forces set out on an epic 'March For Honour', in support of the Royal British Legion (RBL).

Anglian Water Fisheries Manager, Jon Marshall presented Wing Commander Paul McClurg with a cheque for £12,070.69 on behalf of Help for Heroes Charity.

Anglian Water Fishes £12,000 For 'Help For Heroes'

Anglian Water Fisheries Manager, Jon Marshall presented Wing Commander Paul McClurg with a cheque for £12,070 on behalf of Help for Heroes Charity. The money was raised from a Pairs Fly Fishing Competition and Charity Auction held at the water company’s Rutland Water reservoir in August.

The Mayor of Stamford Councillor David Brailsford was on hand to recieve a bench inscribed with 'THE ROYAL FORCE'.

Cancer Research UK Shop Manager, Dorota Phillips made a special journey to RAF Wittering on Tuesday 6th July to present the airbase with an amazing item which was donated to her charity shop in Potters Bar, Hertfordshire at the end of 2009.
