Our aim is to provide to our patients a safe and comprehensive service that ensures quality of life and helps prevent disease and disability. We wish to promote and support the physical and emotional health of each individual.
We are a multi-disciplinary team dedicated to providing accessible, patient-focused quality health care in a timely, cost-effective and friendly manner.

Home Visits
Patients who are too ill to attend the Medical Centre can request a home visit. All requests are assessed by the duty doctor. Whenever possible it is preferable to see patients within the Medical Centre where more extensive facilities are available.
Vaccinations
Vaccinations are by appointment only.
Clinics are held Mon and Tue 1330 - 1640 or Routine Nurse Clinic. All Service personnel must bring their jab book (BMed 27) to their appointment
Well Woman Clinic
The Well Woman Clinic is by appointment only. Thu 1300 - 1530 or triple appointment on Routine Nurse Clinic.
Dispensary
The Dispensary is open Mon - Fri 0815 - 1200 and 1315 - 1700.

Repeat Medications. Please order your repeat medications by handing in your repeat slip with the relevant boxes ticked to the Dispensary Staff. Your medications will normally be ready for collection the next work day. If we cannot achieve this, we will contact you. Please note, the repeat slip is only valid if the review date at the bottom is current.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Formal Visits. During Formal Staff Visits and GP Training Practice Re-accreditation Visits, the visiting team carry out quality control checks on a proportion of service and NHS health records. Any confidential medical information about any individual will not be divulged by the visiting team; however, individuals have the right to deny the team access to their records.
Action Required by Service Personnel. Service personnel are to inform their dependants who are registered with the Medical Centre of their right to deny access.
Action to Deny Access. Any individual service or civilian who does not wish their records to be inspected, should inform the Senior Medical Office in writing.
Referral Mechanism. All emergency referrals are sent to Peterborough District Hospital (PDH). Service personnel and their dependants are routinely referred to the nearest Military District Hospital Unit (MDHU) at Peterborough or Stamord and Rutland Hospital.
Out of Hours Medical Cover
Out of hours medical cover is covered by the Lincolnshire South West Primary Care Trust. This service is based at the Primary Care Centre; adjacent to the Accident and Emergency Department at Stamford & Rutland Hospital and is staffed by specially trained nurses, paramedics and doctors. This service is accessed by calling a central telephone number: 0845 0450281. The service operates on week nights from 1830 hrs to 0800 hrs and at weekends between 1830 hrs on Friday to 0800 hrs on Monday. It will also cover Public Holidays. Outside of these times and during Station Stand-down, other than Public Holidays, medical cover will continue to be provided by the RMC.
