Senior Aircraftman James Frost

James is a Mechanical Technician and flies with Red 7 Flight Lieutenant Chris Lyndon-Smith. This is his first year on Circus.

Age- 25

Education- Ashton On Mersey School, Manchester

Career- James joined the Royal Air Force in 2003 at the age of 16. After completing trade training he was posted to 1(F) Squadron working on the Harrier aircraft. James worked on 1(F) Sqn for six years and whilst there went on detachments including Las Vegas, Spain, Canada, trails through Portugal and Bermuda, Exercises on HMS Illustrious and Ark Royal and has also served four tours in Afghanistan. James joined the Red Arrows in 2010.

Background- James grew up in Sale, Manchester but now lives in Lincoln. In his spare time he enjoys windsurfing, playing the guitar and socialising with friends. He is also a keen supporter of Manchester United Football Club.
