Sergeant Tim Elton
Tim is a Mechanical Technician and flies with Red 9, Flight Lieutenant Kirsty Stewart. Tim is the Circus Leader for 2012.
Age – 35
Education – Ordsall Hall School and Sixth Form College, Retford.
Career – Tim joined the Royal Air Force in 1996 and initially worked at RAF Cottesmore on Tornado GR1 and Harrier GR7/T10 aircraft at the Tri-national Tornado Training Establishment and Harrier Maintenance Flight respectively. Tim then moved to RAF Marham where he carried out second line support for the Tornado GR4 which included overseas tours to Nellis AFB in Nevada USA. Tim joined the Red Arrows in 2008.
Background – Tim originates from Retford, Nottinghamshire and lives there now with his wife Rachel and son Max (2). In his spare time, he likes to play the guitar and keep fit by running. He also enjoy most sports and is a keen supporter of Nottingham Forest Football Club.
