Responsibility for ensuring that spare parts get to the Team wherever they are operating throughout the world falls upon the three-strong Supply team. They also ensure that the team’s transport, whether it be a Hercules C130 aircraft or an articulated lorry, is correctly loaded.

I joined the Royal Air Force because most of my friends had joined and I wanted to experience the same things they would tell me about when I saw them. Since joining the RAF 18 years ago, I have been lucky to travel to places such as Australia, Canada and the USA on various detachments. I have completed Operational detachments to both Iraq and Afghanistan, having the opportunity to work with multi-national forces. Leading a 3 strong team of suppliers and being responsible for equipment costing in excess of £25 million pounds is a major task with every day bringing a new set of challenges. Providing the engineers with the necessary parts and equipment is of paramount importance in keeping out aircraft flying and I am relishing this task and am proud to be part of such an exceptional team.
