Down the Strand for many hundreds of years has streamed the pageant of English history, and throughout almost ten centuries of that history, people have found peace, comfort and strength within the walls of St Clement Danes.

The present church offers the same gifts to those who enter. Not only a memorial to the prowess of men and women of the Royal Air Force it stands pre-eminently as a memorial to the love and power of God in the present generation.
