George Heriot's School, which is located in Edinburgh, Scotland, were crowned champions at the National Finals of the Royal Air Sqn Trophy.
The National Finals of the Royal Air Sqn Trophy (NRAST) were held in the IFPT at RAF Halton on Sun 5 Mar 23, with 15 teams (comprising of 13 cadets) competing from across all 5 of the Training, Evaluation and Support Team (TEST) Areas for the CCF (RAF) in the UK.
Taking part along with George Heriot's School were Bournemouth School, Calday Grammar School, Dulwich College, Kimbolton School, Kings School Grantham, Lancaster Grammar School, Loughborough Grammar School, Maidstone Grammar School, Merchant Taylors' Crosby, Pates Grammar School, Penair School, Victoria College, Wilson's School and Wymondham College.
They took in 6 disciplines:
Uniform & Drill
First Aid
Air Rifle Shoot
Command Task
Aircraft Recognition
RAF/RAFAC General Knowledge
The stands were run by the TEST Staff with support from CFAVs on the day.
The Comdt was the Reviewing Officer for the competition and awarded the trophies to the winning teams in each discipline and the overall champions, runners up and third place teams. Who were:

Runners Up: Loughborough Grammar School.
Third Place: Dulwich College
