RAF Music Services record with Ify Iwobi

Ify and the RAF Musicians stand by a grand piano.

RAF Musicians collaborated with pianist and composer Ify Iwobi to record an arrangement of her track 'Flying High.'

Supported by Warrant Officer Steve Perham from RAF Recruit and Select, and Flight Lieutenant Michael Parsons, band Director of Music; the project aims to spread positive messages and stories of talented people from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) communities.  This is in line with targets for the Armed Forces to reflect the society in which we live, and ensure our Next Generation is diverse and inclusive.

"The positive message that will circulate throughout Wales and beyond as a result of your Bands collaboration yesterday will undoubtedly promote the Royal Air Force as a Diverse and Inclusive employer of choice with audiences we are looking to positively influence."
