Royal Air Force aviators deployed on Exercise Pitch Black have taken part in a Royal Australian Air Force community engagement programme in Darwin.

Members of 6 Squadron and Voyager Logistics have visited local schools and community organisations to give presentations about their roles with a focus on inspiring interest in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

Members of the RAF visited Project 21 in Darwin Australia as part of a local engagement to spread awareness and answer questions of the Royal Australian Air Force.

The images show visits to Essington School, Darwin, and Project 21, a post school-based learning centre for young people with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities.

Pitch Black is a three-week exercise involving 17 nations from across the Indo-Pacific region and Europe involving complex and intensive joint interoperability training.
