To celebrate its 21st anniversary, 3 Royal Auxiliary Air Force Police Squadron held capability demonstrations and historic vehicle displays for friends and family of its personnel.

In 2001, 3 Royal Auxiliary Air Force Police Squadron formed under 3 (Tactical) Police Wing. Originally based at RAF Henlow. The Squadron relocated to RAF Honington in 2015, as part of the RAF re-basing project and now sits under the Specialist Police Wing.
In attendance was the Squadrons Honorary Air Commodore, Dame Thornton, who presented members of the Squadron with Her Majesty The Queen's Platinum Jubilee Medal, long service clasps and an Operation PITTING clasp during the function held at RAF Honington.
It is a privilege to take the salute at the parade to celebrate 21 years of the Squadron and to recognise the outstanding service of many colleagues. Events such as this one provides a great opportunity to acknowledge service and commitment - it is never taken for granted.
