The 4 day event provides a platform for current and ex RAF Police to share knowledge and experiences whilst partaking in a shared passion of motorcycling.

Carl, an RAF Police veteran said: “It is so important to me as a veteran. This gave me the chance to meet up with friends and make some new ones from the RAF Police family. The shared history allowed for an easy relaxed atmosphere.”

The Memorial Ride finished at the National Memorial Arboretum where the participants joined the RAF Police Association, alongside family and friends of those who are sadly no longer with us, to witness the dedication of new memorial stones.

Sgt Nurse Said: “The event was full of happiness and comradeship, with the poignant memories of our fallen colleagues always in our thoughts.”

Whilst there is no charge for attending, participants were able to make donation which is shared equally between the RAFPA for the upkeep of the RAF Police Memorial and the Provost Marshal’s Welfare Fund, the event raised £1480.
