
RAF Police personnel have represented the RAF at the National Black Police Association Conference 2021.
Flying Officer Nettleford, from the Force Protection Centre at RAF Honington attended the annual conference that focused on ‘Inclusivity a time for action – spotlight on women and race.’

During the Conference Flying Officer Nettleford discussed the roles and responsibilities of the RAF Police, and how the RAF can continue promoting diversity and inclusion into the Armed Forces. key speakers at the Conference included Priti Patel MP, Dawn Butler MP, Colin Salmon, Leroy Logan MBE, and Kriss Akabusi MBE.

Corporal Carré from RAF Cranwell and Corporal Wood from RAF Henlow attended the conference, where they spent the day on the exhibition stand, speaking with the attendees and answering questions regarding the role of the RAF Police.

Alongside the UK’s Police sector, various other organisations were in attendance, such as the Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Board, Specialist Operations Unit, Counter Terrorism Policing, and the Superintendents Association.

During the conference the National Black Police Association awards 2021 winners were announced with a full list of winners available on the National Black Police Association website.
