THE SQUADRON

Number 8 RAF Police & Security Squadron is unique in that, unlike its sister Squadrons, it is focussed entirely on protecting people from their first entry into the RAF at either RAF Halton or RAF Cranwell, through phase 2 training and onto their first assignments.

The Squadron HQ is based at RAF Cranwell and provides Policing and Security to all RAF training establishments which includes RAF College Cranwell, Cosford, Halton, Henlow, Honington, Shawbury and Valley.
