This month, we bid a fond farewell to the one and only Warrant Officer ‘Spike’ Morrison. In a heartwarming (and slightly chaotic) ceremony, personnel from across the Air C2 Force and Station gathered to ensure he left the unit—and that he didn’t sneak out with anything in his pockets!
In true RAF style, the send-off featured the classic Bowler Hat and Umbrella combo. Yes folks, nothing says “I’m off to conquer the world” quite like a gentlemanly hat and a trusty brolly! We’re still not sure if the umbrella was for rain or to fend off any last-minute attempts to keep him from leaving.
As Spike embarks on his next adventure, we at RAF Boulmer wish him all the best.
