The team jumped into Royal Air Force Akrotiri during the base’s Coronation celebrations, the first time the team have performed in Cyprus in over 10 years. RAF Akrotiri serves as a forward mounting base for overseas operations, with numerous personnel and their families based on the Station.

Flight Lieutenant Mike Reeve, Officer Commanding RAF Falcons said:

“It was a huge privilege to help mark the Coronation of King Charles III by displaying in RAF Akrotiri today. It was great to see our RAF colleagues based in Cyprus getting into the full swing of Coronation celebrations and it was an honour for the team to help be part of that. The day was full of red, white and blue colour, from Union Flag bunting to UK themed outfits and decorations. Our famous canopies flying the UK colours added to a spectacular day of celebrations for our new King at one of our most important British overseas military bases”
