On Sunday 23rd January, No. 4624 (County of Oxford) Movements Squadron, Royal Auxiliary Air Force, marked the completion of Basic Movements Training for 11 trainees, with a graduation ceremony held at RAF Brize Norton.

The guest of honour was Group Captain Nick Huntley, the A4 Force Elements Commander and Deputy Support Force Commander.

The 11 graduating trainees have completed the course over 13 weekends and a residential period of 17 days during the last 10 months, fitting it in around their civilian employment and family commitments. During the course, the trainees also undertook several charity fundraising activities, raising an impressive £2040 for the charities - Blind Veterans UK and the Alzheimer’s Society. The graduating trainees will now join 4624 Squadron Operational flights and, after some consolidation training, they are all looking forward to supporting No. 1 Air Mobility Wing with taskings and mobilisations.
