RAF Falcons Receive Their Public Display Authority for 2018 Display Season

Today, the RAF Falcons Parachute Display Team were awarded their Public Display Authority for 2018, by Air Vice-Marshal David Cooper CBE MA BEng(Hons) RAF, Air Officer Commanding (AOC) No. 2 Group.

The RAF Falcons have been training extremely hard over the winter, to perfect their famous canopy stack in preparation for their 2018 display season, which officially launches on Friday 27 April 2018 at RAF Brize Norton.

"It is an immense honour to command the 2018 RAF Falcons in the year that the Royal Air Force celebrates its 100th birthday. I feel extremely privileged to be working with such a motivated and high performing team. We are really excited about starting this year’s display season and representing the Royal Air Force at events throughout the UK."

 The Team will be performing at over 60 events across the UK this year, including the Royal International Air Tattoo, Ayr International Airshow, and many other special events, where they will be entertaining thousands with their spectacular display.
