On 22 Mar 22, the Reserve Squadrons at RAF Brize Norton hosted Mr A Dottridge and Brigadier H Robertson, team leaders for the Reserve Forces 30 Implementation Team.
The visit included briefs from all the Reserve Squadron Commanders, and a visit to an aircraft which included displays by different professions. Air Vice Marshal R Munro was the main host for the visit.
The aim was to inform both the VIPs of the role of the Reserves based at RAF Brize Norton and also emphasise our thoughts about the RF 30 Implementation Plan. The visit was a success and Mr Dottridge was suitably impressed by it, and the chance to meet the reservists, who he noted, were such motivated and enthusiastic individuals.
"The visit was extremely informative and I was definitely leaving RAF Brize Norton better educated about the Royal Auxiliary Air Force. I was taken aback with the excitement of such enthusiastic individuals and how much they thoroughly enjoyed their operational role".
Mr Dottridge
