When you arrive

All approved visitors to the Station must be report to the Main Guard Room at the Main Gate.

Adults (over 16) must bring photographic identification, for example, a driving licence or passport.

The member of staff who invited you to RAF Lossiemouth must meet you at the Main Guard Room.

Visiting information

We generally do not facilitate ad-hoc visits to the Station.

However, there are rare occasions where we may be able to do so.

Requests are managed through the Station's Visits Cell.

Heritage Centre

The Heritage Centre is situated within the wire at RAF Lossiemouth, run by a team of volunteers in their own time. It is open to ex-Service personnel and members of the public by appointment only.

Tourist attractions

RAF Lossiemouth is a front-line operational base.

There is no access to the Station for members of the public.

Work experience

Work experience placements are not available at RAF Lossiemouth.

School visits

RAF Lossiemouth does not offer individual school visits. RAF Lossiemouth does however host numerous school engagement events throughout the academic year.
