New Deputy Air Officer Commanding 22 Gp and Assistant Chief of Staff Training, Air Commodore Philip Arnold, visited recently to gain an insight into activities conducted at the Station. As part of his visit an Honours & Awards Ceremony was held, to formally recognise the outstanding achievements of personnel from RAF St Mawgan, 505 (Wessex) Sqn, 1 RAFP (22 Gp) Sqn and AFCO Plymouth. Included within the recipients were the team behind the project which saw the Sea King finally coming out of storage and taking its place outside the Shackleton Mess as the Station’s Gate Guardian.
