About
85 Expeditionary Logistics Wing falls under the A4 Force Elements of the Support Force. The Wing delivers logistic capabilities to Headquarters Air Operations and global Defence tasks; such as port liaison capability, fuel specialists, inventory and support chain management, airfield specialist vehicle support and heavy lift surface transport, deployed catering, accommodation management and laundry, and a search and rescue capability.
It consists of four Air Combat Service Support Units:
- 3 Mobile Catering Squadron
- 1 Expeditionary Logistics Squadron
- 2 Mechanical Transport
- RAF Mountain Rescue Service
