Do you know how to claim your Armed Forces preserved pension?
Since 1975 all the UK Armed Forces Pension schemes have a preserved pension provision for those who complete at least 2 years reckonable service.
These preserved pensions are payable at different ages, depending on which scheme you are a member of, so it is worth checking.
Please note that your preserved pension doesn't just start on its own; you have to claim it! Also, you can get an estimate of how much you are likely to receive (once a year, free of charge).
